My first impression of Tristan is that he absolutely understands the horse. He doesn’t go out of this idea that every horse is the same. He definitely analyses every horse the way the horse presents itself to Tristan and he gets the answers from the horse.
After Tristan leaves my stable and we’ve worked with him for three or four days, we can implement everything for two or three weeks and then there’s questions that pop up. It’s so helpful to be able to go online and actually look for the answers of the questions that popped up. And move forward that way instead of waiting for him to come back over and answer the questions himself.
Three to four times a week we use the stretching wall for all of our horses. My Grand Prix horse gets really tight in his shoulders and by showing how he can stretch himself, they put the leg up themselves and they can stretch down, he just feels so much better in his body when he starts.
